Lento Enterprises began in 1972 as Cal Hawkins Productions, a BMI music publishing company. The
effort at that time was to protect personal copyrights and copyrights of local songwriters in the Radcliff,
Kentucky area.
Over time, the company has expanded into
booking entertainment, through Stardust Entertainment, recording company activities, through Flashpoint
Records, promotion work, through Ideal Promotions, distribution of CD’s and books, through Sugarloaf
Distribution, and expanded publishing through 58K Music Publishing (ASCAP).
Now, Lento Enterprises opens its doors, its contacts, and its expertise in the music business to all
musicians and aspiring musicians. We can guide you through the entire process from advising you on
